The UCSA and OpSoc are collaborating this Arts Fest to create a Clothes Swap activation for our annual Makers Market!

MAKERS MARKET INFORMATION:

*Limited stall numbers so get in quick!*

We will have various student business stalls selling their artwork and creative products at the market. Its a great day to support fellow student artists and see what they have on offer!

 

CLOTHES SWAP INFORMATION:

We shall be opening the ‘Donation Station’ every day starting Wednesday the 15th of May (9am – 5pm) till Tuesday the 21st of May (again 9-5pm). The donation station will be close to the UCSA reception (Level 2 of Haere-roa). There will signage around to help guide you where to donate your pre-loved items.

Any clothes dropped off after 5pm Tuesday the 21st of May will not be accepted or apart of the UCSA x OpSoc Clothes Swap and will be placed on the free table in the social space. Any items that do not get collected during the makers market (and the free table) will be taken to local charity shops within the Ilam community to help support their stock take this winter.

Here's what we are accepting:

-Tops

- Jumpers

- Knits

- Pants

- Gloves

- Beanie

- Work wear items (work pants, blazers, blouses) 

- Dresses

 

**However, those items must not have any damage to them. Damaged items includes: rips, holes, missing buttons, stains (including makeup/fake tan/food stains), general wear and tear. This is a Clothes SWAP not a Clothes DUMP**

 

Things we WON'T accept:

- Shoes

- Underwear

- Swimwear

- Accessories: including belts, bags, glasses/sunglasses etc
