//. EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY OFFICE

The Education and Advocacy Office provides independent support, advice and advocacy on any academic problems you may have while studying at the University of Canterbury. We also administer the Class Rep system, which provides an important link between the class and the lecturer. Class Reps are the first point of contact for students with issues and, once trained, offer guidance and support for their classmates.

We also have a Postgraduate Support Person to deal with the specific and unique issues which occur for students engaged in postgraduate study and research.

The UCSA Education and Advocacy Office is located in the UCSA Building and is staffed by the UCSA Education Coordinator, the UCSA Advocate, and the Postgraduate Support Person.

For class issues, class and faculty rep questions, and general enquiries, you can contact the Education Coordinator or check out the link on this site to Education.

For independent support and advocacy with issues such as complaints, appeals, discipline, and so on, contact the Advocate or check out the link on this site to Advocacy.

For more information on Postgraduate Support and Activities, contact the Postgraduate Support Person, or check out the link on this site to Postgraduate Support.
