The Student Activities Co-ordinator organises all the great events at the UCSA, including the Orientation Festival, End of Term Parties, Graduation Ball, Re-Orientation Festival, lunchtime performances, Quiz Nights, End of Lectures Festival, Photo Competitions, The Ed Wood Student Video Competition - the list goes on! They also act as a consultant to UCSA clubs, societies and individual students seeking advice on organising their own performances and social events.
A small sound system for on campus use can be booked for a very reasonable rate to members (market rates to non-members).
Plenty of opportunities exist for students to volunteer their services with the Activities and Events Co-ordinator in return for work experience, free entry to events and refreshments. Feedback and suggestions are welcomed.
