Being a postgraduate in a department can get a bit isolated, so we have a variety of events over the year to help postgrads mix it up and meet new people. If the events on offer are not your cup of tea, feel free to offer any suggestions to the Postgrad Coordinator who can try and make your requests a reality!

Come to the Postgrad Ball - Pacific Island Cruise night, at the Harbourlight, Lyttelton on Friday
14 September, and let your cares float away!
Experience the excitement of pacific island music, colourful dress, and a night of dancing and thrills…
Tickets at the Junction, UCSA.
Cost: $45 includes: - one complimentary drink
- subsidised bar
- bus transfers from the UCSA to Lyttelton
- and return (with stop-off at the Strip if you’re keen to carry on partying!)
Meet at the Common Room Bar, UCSA at 7pm. Buses depart for Lyttelton at 7.30pm.

SHOWCASE! The UC Postgraduate Conference will be held this year on the 29th August on Campus. As well as the traditional Presentation and Poster sections, the conference will include a Performance section, so there'll be a little bit of something for everyone!
