The UCSA is happy to welcome this new role on our Student Support Services Team! The International Student Support Coordinator, Erin Martin, offers advice and support to international students. This includes promoting international awareness and cultural diversity on campus, representing international students interests on campus, and creating avenues for all students to create friendships and social connections through regular events (such as the annual International Festival, and other new initiatives starting in 2008!). The Coordinator also works with the UC International Student Support Office to best understand the needs of international students.
Keep a look out for increasing social events for international and domestic students alike! And if you have any ideas you’d like to share, or just need some help and advice, contact us!
