The UCSA Student Executive is the students' representation on campus. Each year, a new Executive of twelve students is elected for duties in the following year. All students who are enrolled in the University of Canterbury are eligible to run in the Executive elections.
The twelve students are comprised of three officers, along with nine other members who are each delegated a portfolio that represents a certain aspect of the Association. The most visible member of the Executive is the President, and they head the Executive and represent students on numerous boards which span the management strata of the University. The other two officers are the Vice-President and the Finance and Services Officer. They work closely in conjunction with the President.
Students have representation on 95% of University committees, and the UCSA provides advice and support to all student delegates through our Education & Advocacy Office.
