Charity Fight Night

Winterlude Charity Fight Night

Walk out to Phil Collins blaring through the smoky haze, an entourage marching behind you and your dad’s belt strung over your shoulder. It’s just you and your opponent, 3 x 2minute rounds of Charity Boxing awaits… Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face!

The Winterlude Charity Fight Night will take place at the UCSA Events Centre in mid July and applications are now open for this year’s fighters!!!

The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand

This year we have partnered with The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to raise even more money for charity.

A few rounds in the ring is nothing compared to the issue of Mental Health. Nearly 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime, and they should not face it on their own. Your donation will help the Mental Health Foundation of NZ provide individuals, workplaces, schools, universities and communities with the tools they need to build positive mental health and wellbeing.

 Please donate today:

On top of your donations to Mental Health NZ, we will also contribute a percentage of ticket sales to charity, and host a number of pop up events on campus before fight night that raise awareness for the cause.

Fighter Charities

We may have partnered with the Mental Health Foundation of NZ, but our fighters still get to choose their own charity to represent.

Boxing is the toughest and loneliest sport in the world. The only limitations are the ones you place on yourself. You’ll go places that you never have dreamed you can go… but you will be doing it all for a great cause. Last year we raised over $20,000 for a number of Charity’s focusing on issues including Cancer research and Mental Health. Test yourself and do your bit for a charity of your choosing! All fighters must raise a minimum of $500!
