International Student Advisory Group

What is it?

The International Advisory Group is a mechanism to aid and support the International Representative on the UCSA Executive to best represent the needs of all international students at the University of Canterbury.

Role of the Advisory Group

As per the Charter, the Advisory Group shall meet at least four times a year to provide feedback on international student issues and when required on UCSA materials, policies, and events.

The International Advisory Group is to provide advice and make recommendations on issues and concerns to UCSA Executive Committee, who may in turn take to any relevant UC committees.

If you are an international student or a domestic student who is passionate about international student concerns and their experience here at UC, please complete the application form by 5 December.  

All applications will be considered and candidates will be appointed by the end of December 2018.
